A celebration of community
As I celebrate my “diaversary” (that is, the anniversary of my diabetes diagnosis) today, the first word that comes to mind is community. Whether it’s the IndyCar family, those with diabetes who inspire me, or the medical pros and my family members, I really owe a lot of my journey to this big community.
So, today I won’t be focusing on that one day back in 2007 when my world turned upside down. Instead, I’ll think about all of the people who have followed my journey here and continue to support me today. Thank you!
